Zhejiang Xizi Hotel Hangzhou, Hangzhou

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were comfortable and offered a beautiful lakeside view, but there were some cleanliness issues like mold near the bathtub and water damage on the ceiling. The location was ideal, right on the lakefront, providing a peaceful setting, but there were some drawbacks like smoking in certain areas. The staff was very polite and helpful, although there was a bit of a language barrier. The dining experience had its highs and lows, with some fabulous options but also overpriced items.

The hotel offers relatively large and well-decorated rooms, including a mix of smoking and non-smoking rooms in building #6. The lobby area may not be ideal for non-smokers due to heavy smoke presence. Service can be improved, especially in assisting foreigners with basic needs and amenities. The location is superbly tranquil and convenient for exploring Westlake, with stunning garden views. Dining options are a bit overpriced with limited international dishes.
